Have You Upgraded?
I have to laugh at myself, I’ve spent countless hours over the last week dinking around with Wordpress on my different websites getting them upgraded and tweaked. I love the new version of Wordpress and I’m happy to put up with the quirks while they iron them out - but it’s a bit stressful nonetheless.
Staying on top of a learning curve with the technology you use every day for your business and life can be overwhelming - but avoiding it creates more problems down the road.
For example… when I moved and hooked up my new phone I discovered a few weeks later that I had no voice mail service. I half-heartedly tried to reach the phone company to add it but got lost in their phone system and gave up. I ignored the issue for a few weeks - and missed a lot of important phone calls.
It was silly to avoid dealing with it. A few more minutes of aingst on the phone with AT&T and I would have been in the clear.
What do you need to deal with, upgrade, update or back up? Just do it! You’ll be so glad

I haven’t upgraded yet - Wordpress 2.3 is working just peachy for me so until it starts laughing hysterically at me, I’m content with things the way they are.
